Topic areas of the conference :

Over the last ten years, considerable research, including experiments, has been conducted in NTICs in education. They are now reaching maturity, but the problems of providing and using multimedia materials remain.

Contributions are invited for submission in the following topic areas :

  • Simulation and Training,
  • Self-Training and Evaluation,
  • Distance Learning, Distributed Environments, Internet,
  • Content Model and Delivery,
  • Specificities of Training in Technology and Sciences for Engeneers,
  • Initial Training, Lifelong Learning, Continuing Education,
  • Teaching Strategies, Learning Types,
  • Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Intelligent Agents, Learner Models.

Scientific Conference :

Contributions can be related about models, tools, methodologies or feed-back analysis.

Important dates :

  • May, 15 1998 : submission deadline for papers,
  • June, 30 1998 : papers acceptance notice,
  • September, 15 1998 : camera-ready papers due.

Instructions to authors :

Authors are requested to submit papers in French or in English in one of the following formats :

  • long papers : 12 pages,
  • short papers : 6 pages.

Submitted papers should include a cover page with :

  • the title of the paper and the author's name and affilition,
  • mail address of the principal author, phone and fax numbers,
  • email address,
  • a 10-line abstract in French and in English including a list of key-words.

Papers should be sent :

  • by email, in attached Word or PDF format to :

Each paper will be reviewed by at least two independent referees on the scientific commitee. Accepted papers actually presented by one of the authors will be included in the conference proceedings.

  • August, 15 1998 : Submission deadline for propositions,
  • September 15, 1998 : Final versions due for publication in the CD-ROM.

Kind of contributions :

Contributions are expected on topics related to feed-back analysis, tools or projects. They can take two forms :

  • a talk with or without demonstration (20-30 minutes),
  • a permanent presentation or demonstration with a poster or on a stand.

All the contributions will be edited on a CD-ROM

Official languages are Frensh or English

Participation conditions :

  • Contibutions are invited to submit a written abstract of their proposal in Frensh and in English.
    The cover page will include the title of th contribution, its type (talk, poster, stand), the contributions' names and affiliations; the name, mail and email address, phone and fax numbers of the mailing correspondant; and a list of key-words in frensh and in English.
  • Prpoisitions should be sent :
